Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the horror and martial arts categories. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films with a morbid fascination. The reviews began in the latter half of 2009, and following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. The website remained online through the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her videos can be seen here and here. Her Twitter profile, Tumblr page and Facebook account are also home to videos. Are you bored of Allison? Ninja the Mission Force has an impressive resume acting Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. and was often a guest on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax live-streamed shows, and occasionally an adult-oriented comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). After reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame through the Channel Awesome forums. After becoming part of the official group of Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
