Anita Barone

Barone was Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season 4. She was a chef known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. She was a member of the cast in the show Carol & Company in early 1990s, alongside actor Carol Burnett. Barone performed the role of the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement after Barone left Friends to pursue a role which required more time. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 through 1996 as well as The War at Home between 2005 and 2007. Barone co-starred alongside Daddio in 2000. Barone has also appeared in Desperate housewives and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character, on two of the episodes.
